Rumsey Witnesses Solar Eclipse Phenomenon

The Rumsey Hall campus community was treated to a spectacular celestial event on Monday, April 8, as it experienced a rare solar eclipse. Equipped with safety glasses provided by the School, all were able to safely view the eclipse without risking damage to their eyes. The eclipse, which began at approximately 2:15 p.m., reached its peak around 3:25 p.m., with about 93 percent of the Sun obscured by the Moon's shadow. Excitement coursed through campus as students, faculty, and staff marveled at the historic sight!
